In 1902, a late antique Roman mosaic was discovered on the site of Mirišta, which, like another one discovered later, represent the floor decorations of a Roman building, most likely from the 3rd or 4th century AD.
The first mosaic has the motif of three fish with one common head, and the second has a decoration in the form of a rectangle with 12 fields. Archaeological research at this site has not yet been completed, nor has their adequate protection and presentation been ensured.
